Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Special Education or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
Valid teaching certification in Special Education.
Proven experience in delivering virtual instruction to students with special needs.
Strong understanding of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and the ability to create and implement effective strategies and accommodations.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively collaborate with students, parents, and fellow team members.
Tech-savvy and proficient in utilizing virtual teaching platforms, educational software, and assistive technologies.
Passionate about fostering inclusivity, empathy, and respect within the virtual learning environment.
Ability to adapt teaching methods and materials to meet the diverse needs of students with disabilities.
Patience, flexibility, and a sense of humor are must-have qualities.
