Watch Workshop Repairman - Dallas TX

Training Hours - 7am to 3pm and flexible work hours after training is completed.

$22/hour with benefits (Medical/PTO/Holiday/401k)

• Ensures that spare parts usage rate is consistent with department goals.

• Ensures that SOP's and safety protocols are followed.

• Ensures proper conditions of tools and equipment.

• Ensures that all paperwork for jobs and trays, including movements and case numbers. Ensures that jobs and trays are properly processed through central coordination station OR through WMI at personal workstation.

De-Caser Tasks

• Matching pre-picked spare parts to work orders.

• De-casing watch movements.

• Removing hands, dials, calendar disks, automatic units and other parts as needed.

• Performing pre-cleaning duties.

• Maintaining CM20 and CM3 machines.

• Ensuring proper condition of cleaning room tools and equipment by restocking and refilling

• appropriate chemicals and cleaning solutions.

Assembler Tasks

• Disassembling, assembling, and lubricating components as needed.

• Evaluating need for replacement parts.

• Troubleshooting and correcting movements and defective/worn parts.

• Properly verifying and adjusting end shakes.

• Servicing 1 to 2 modern calibers.

Dialer & Caser Tasks

• Assembling dials and hands on serviced watches.

• Adjusting calendar and day-date functions.

• Casing up serviced movements. Installing automatic module.

• Preparing watch for final QC.

Polisher Tasks

• Refinishing cases.

• Completing cleaning and assembly of cases.

• Conducting waterproof testing.

• Refinishing bracelets.

• Completing cleaning, resizing, and balancing of bracelets.

• Visually inspecting aesthetics of all engravings.

Bracelet Attachment Tasks

• Conducting waterproof testing.

• Performing cosmetic touch-ups.

• Attaching bracelet to watch case.

• Case & Bracelet Cleaner Tasks

• Completing cleaning, resizing, and balancing of bracelets.

• Inspecting cases and bracelets to ensure required refinishing quality.

• Alpha-numeric recognition

• Rolex watch line

• Tudor watch line

• Watch repair

• Relevant computer applications

• Cleaning machines

• High School Diploma

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit and work at a watchmaking bench.

• The employee is occasionally required to sit/walk/bend; lift and/or carry no more than 15 pounds.

• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and using a loupe to examine watch parts.

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently to stand at polishing machines holding watch parts very still against a polishing wheel.

• Employee will be required to wear required personal protection equipment.

• The employee is occasionally required to sit/walk/bend; lift and/or carry no more than 30 pounds.

• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and using a loop to examine watch parts.

• The noise level in the work environment is usually low but may be loud in polishing areas.

• The normal work schedule is 40 hours per week.
