As we continue to expand our operations, we are seeking a skilled Welder (First Class) to join our dynamic team.

Position: Welder (First Class)

Location: Campbellfield VIC

Responsibilities:

Fabricate and weld high-quality components for bike rack carrier and mounting systems according to engineering drawings and specifications.

Utilize various welding techniques, including MIG and TIG welding, to ensure precision and structural integrity.

Conduct quality inspections of welded components to ensure they meet company standards for strength, durability, and appearance.

Work on design and manufacturing of welding tooling for robotic welding.

Program and troubleshoot welding programs.

Collaborate with the engineering team to identify areas for process improvement and implement innovative welding solutions.

Maintain a safe and organized work environment, adhering to all occupational health and safety guidelines and protocols.

Assist with other production tasks and projects as needed to support overall manufacturing operations.

Qualifications:

At least 3 years of proven experience as a Welder (First Class) or similar role, with a strong portfolio showcasing high-quality welding work.

Proficiency in MIG and TIG welding techniques, with the ability to weld various metals, including steel and aluminium.

Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications to produce accurate welds and fabrications.

Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing work of the highest quality.

Experience with robotic welding systems and programming.

Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Prior experience in a manufacturing or fabrication environment, preferably in the automotive or recreational vehicle industry, is highly desirable.

Relevant welding certifications or qualifications are advantageous.
