About the Role

Bose Software Organization is seeking an experienced Senior Manager who can lead and drive our embedded platform software solutions of consumer electronic products to the next level of excellence and evolve the software technology along the products roadmap. This is a position requiring both strong leadership across regions and hands-on technical experience driving consistent embedded platform software to accommodate foreseeable many years of product roadmap. It requires one to embrace ‘can-do’ attitude and possess business acumen of understanding priorities, cost effectiveness, and significance of on-time deliveries with fast turnaround and well-planned software activities. Hybrid working environment with 3-days/week on-site presence is required for this leadership position.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage an engineering team of 50+ consisting of diverse BSP and Audio DSP functions.

Build consistent core platform software solutions and drive realization of architectural evolution.

Mentor and nuture leaders and managers within team for synergy of execution towards organizational goals and objectives.

Partner with product management in features roadmap, product definition and priorities.

Own and drive features roll-out pertained to platform roadmap and schedule including planning and execution with cost efficiency.

Cross-teams partnership to provide and support best product quality and customer experience during and after launches.

Own and drive platform software quality to the best robustness, portability and scalability.

Drive regular teams review on design, performance and quality metrics.

About You

10+ years leading embedded SW engineering teams of 50+.

Extensive experience as senior leader in technology with in-depth knowledge of embedded platform architecture, infrastructure and security best practices.

Hands-on embedded software development experience.

Proficiency in C/C++, agile and waterfall development, best software maintenance practices in all stages of SDLC.

Excellent leadership, communication and interpersonal skills.

Experience managing global teams across multiple regions.

Experience developing scalable embedded platform with hardware abstractions across Qualcomm, AMLogic, STMicro, Airoha, RISC-V and similar chipsets.

Experience developing scalable DSP services SDK.

Track record of delivering software on-time with tightly managed resources.
