Saw Shop Filer Summary

Our West Point, VA location is searching for a saw shop filer. This is a great opportunity for an individual to join our team.. If you have experience with tool and die or machine shop experience, you might be a good fit for this role.

Saw Shop Filer Pay & Benefits:

First Shift

Full Time Hours

Minimum - Anticipated Maximum Pay $17/hour - $28/hour

Saw Shop Filer Responsibilities:

Sharpening, repairing and maintaining band saws

Sharpening chipper knives and maintaining gang guides

Adherence to all plant safety and environmental guidelines, policies, and procedures

Ability to work independently

Capable of working efficiently/safe as well as keeping a high level of precision

Welding saw cracks & broken teeth

Leveling & tensioning band saws

General maintenance of saw filing equipment

Saw Shop Filer Qualifications:

We are looking for ANYONE with tool and die or machine shop experience

Saw shop experience is preferred, but not mandatory

Must be self motivated and organized
