What You'll Bring:

Technical skills and or certifications

Required: 10+ years experience managing JD Edwards projects

Required: Direct client support and large project management

Required: Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Word, PowerPoint, Excel

Required: Experience with Smartsheet, MS Project or other project planning tool

Required: Knowledge of Visio or another tool for process modeling

Desired: Experience in a professional services or consulting company

Desired: Experience with OpenAir

Desired: PMP® certification

Description

You will be responsible for building a team, developing a plan, implementing solutions, and communicating project progress to lead the success of technical JD Edwards/Cloud projects. We are in search of an experienced JD Edwards Project Manager who will oversee the end-to-end execution, control, and deliverables for assigned statements of work, including managed services engagements and discrete projects. Managed service clients will vary in size. Discrete projects typically range from medium to large sized projects but may include smaller projects from time to time. This role requires a combination of demonstrated experience in managing applicable technology projects, along with the aptitude, attitude, and energy to drive forward progress in an environment with many competing priorities. The JD Edwards Project Manager will report to the head of Sr. Project Team Lead and will collaborate closely with people from every part of the organization.

What You'll Do:

Follow KS2 processes for initiating new statements of work (SOWs) and managing them through their lifecycle

Function as the central point of contact on assigned SOWs

Monitor and manage issues to include issue assessment, assignment, documentation, escalation, and resolution

Prepare and deliver regular SOW status reports

Facilitate and conduct requirements gathering and process design sessions

Manage project scope as defined by the SOW and work with Sales to administer project change control requests when required

KS2's proven delivery process B.E.S.T.TM

Perform weekly SOW assessments and audits for Budget, Expectations, Signoff and Timeline

Track SOW budget vs actuals and report issues on a timely basis and recommend corrective actions

Review and approve resource time entry against SOWs

Ensure that SOW deliverables meet requirements and Client expectations and report issues on a timely basis and recommend corrective actions

Ensure that all required Client signoffs are obtained as planned and report issues on a timely basis and recommend corrective actions

Ensure that all SOWs meet planned timelines and report issues on a timely basis and recommend corrective actions

Lead the scheduling and materials preparation for B.E.S.T.TM meetings

Coordinate SOW resource assignment with the Delivery Leadership team

Interface with Client and KS2 stakeholders to keep abreast of issues and risks

Work with KS2 Leadership to create risk mitigation strategies, monitor and report on risk status

Identify opportunities for efficiency improvements to increase the profitability of assigned SOWs

Prepare effort and timeline estimates

Ensure that SOW information in KS2 standard project management systems is current and accurate

Provide level 1-2 client application support

Provide client engagement leadership

Education

A four-year college degree or 10+ years of direct experience and certifications.
