We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic to join our manufacturing facility in Alsip, IL for the night shift. The ideal candidate will have experience with a variety of systems and equipment, including vision systems, conveyor systems, and PLC programming.Responsibilities

Perform mechanical troubleshooting and repairs on production equipment

Troubleshoot and repair PLC systems

Conduct electrical troubleshooting on machinery

Utilize hydraulics experience to maintain equipment

Program PLC systems as needed

Conduct machine safety inspectionsQualifications

High School Diploma or GED

Four (4) years experience mechanical in a high-speed manufacturing environment

Good working knowledge and experience with preventative maintenance programs

Excellent knowledge of Health & Safety and Lockout Procedures

Working knowledge of computerized maintenance management software’s an asset

Experience with vision systems and conveyor systems

Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills

Ability to troubleshoot PLC systems

Experience with electrical troubleshooting

Knowledge of hydraulics systems

PLC programming experience
