Production Manager- 2nd & 3rd Shift

Job Description

Aegis has an opening for a client near Woodstock, IL for a 2nd and 3rd Shift Production Manager.

5-10+ years of experience in a production environment

Lean 5S value steam mapping, root cause analysis, and FLOW, or Lean/Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt

2+ years of experience in Lean 5S and Six Sigma Measuring Methodologies Experience.

3+ years of leadership leadership/supervisor/manager role in a production environment

Mechanical aptitude

Good understanding of regulatory (any production environment, packaging ideal, but not must-have)

MRP/ERP system (Radius ERP system experience is a plus)

Managing a total of about 50 people, all the managers from the other departments will not be in for the shift. Production Managers are the only managers in the building from 5:30 – 10 p.m.

Indirect management experience to make sure everyone else in other departments is doing their job, and they are willing to help out

Leadership Style: Friendly, but fair.

2nd: 2:00 p.m. - 10:30 p.m., Monday - Friday

3rd: 10:00 p.m. - 6:20 a.m. Monday - Friday
