Job Description

Position Mission: To maximize the top-line revenue of Tempest by driving sales growth with assigned large wireline telecom carriers and Multiple-System Operators (MSOs) by winning new customer accounts, expanding our product, repair, and Technical Assistance Center (TAC) offerings, and managing customer relationships and outcomes consistent with their needs and our company's objectives. In addition, the development of supply sources for key high-demand products across IP and Data is key. The primary responsibility of this role is top-line revenue and gross profit (GP) growth.

What you will do:

· Develop and execute a Wireline/MSO growth plan for 2024 and beyond to achieve divisional and corporate revenue and GP targets.

· Identify, engage, and build client relationships with key executives, directors, and managers.

· Manage sales funnel and forecasting of Wireline/MSO opportunities.

· Effectively close and convert sales opportunities to wins, directly and influentially.

· Work closely with the Tempest management team to align offerings with customer requirements, including RFP response ownership.

· Manage an Action Plan that defines how we penetrate target accounts.

· Travel to client locations and relevant trade shows as needed, estimated at 25%.

· Develop sources of supply that fit into the wireline network from end users, integrators, OEMs, etc

Experience you bring:

· 7+ years selling in the wireline/MSO segment of telecom, preferably services and/or products.

· Relationships within assigned account base with people responsible for procurement of products/services.

· Self-starter with an entrepreneurial mindset, yet skillful in meeting corporate objectives.

· Strategic planning and large account management

· Customer Relationship Management (CRM) process knowledge and tool experience

· College degree preferred.

Assigned Accounts: These include, but are not limited to, Lumen, Zayo, Brightspeed, Windstream, AT&T Wireline, CenturyLink, Charter, Cox, Comcast, Dish, DirectTV, Consolidated Communications, Frontier, Google Fiber, Hawaiian Telcom, Mediacom, and TDS Telecom.

Compensation: As compensation for your services in this position, you will receive a base salary of $50,000-$75,000 with a healthy commission plan of the shipped GP, subject to continued employment and achieving targets. You will be eligible for all the customary benefits offered by the company, including health insurance, 401(k), 5 weeks of personal time off (PTO), and time off for major holidays (defined in the employee handbook).
