Job Description: We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-oriented Inside Sales Representative to join our sales team. The Inside Sales Representative will play a crucial role in driving sales growth, maintaining strong customer relationships, and coordinating with the service team for aftermarket replacement parts and service requests. This position requires excellent communication skills and a willingness to learn and develop a niche knowledge base in pump sales. Responsibilities:

Manage and respond to incoming customer inquiries via phone, email, and other communication channels promptly and professionally.

Understand customers' needs and recommend suitable products and solutions to meet their requirements, including aftermarket replacement parts and service.

Coordinate with the service team to provide accurate service quotes and set up service calls for customers.

Provide accurate product information, pricing, and delivery timelines to customers.

Prepare and send sales quotations and follow up with customers to close sales.

Collaborate with the outside sales team to support their efforts, including generating leads, providing sales support, and coordinating customer visits.

Develop a strong understanding of industrial pumps, fire protection systems, and related products through training and self-education.

Stay up to date with industry trends, market conditions, and competitor offerings.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer records in the CRM system.

Proactively identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling to existing customers.

Assist with order entry, processing, tracking, and ensuring timely delivery of products.

Resolve customer complaints and issues promptly, ensuring customer satisfaction.

Collaborate with other internal teams, to provide a seamless customer experience.

Coordinate with the service team to ensure timely and efficient service delivery for customers.

Meet or exceed assigned sales targets and contribute to overall team goals.

Requirements:

Previous experience in manufacturing or industrial sales is strongly preferred but not required.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with customers.

Strong willingness to learn and develop a niche knowledge base in pump sales.

Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.

Exceptional customer service and problem-solving skills.

Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales tools.

Self-motivated and results-driven with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple priorities effectively.

Salary range is an estimated starting salary only and would be contingent on previous experience level. Once trained, there will be opportunities to work remotely several days a week.
