The IT Director will be responsible for managing a small IT support team, and acting as the final level of support for all of our IT Infrastructure (systems, networks, and ERP).

The IT Director MUST BE BILINGUAL (English/Mandarin) as they will be working heavily with our Global business units in China.

Job Details

Responsibilities:

Develop and implement IT strategy and best practice guides for the organization.

Design, develop, implement, and coordinate systems, policies, and procedures.

Support all System and Network devices, as well as ERP infrastructure.

Ensure security of data, network access, and backup systems.

Act in alignment with user needs and system functionality to contribute to organizational policy.

Identify problematic areas and implement strategic solutions in time.

Audit systems and assess their outcomes.

Preserve assets, information security, and control structures.

Handle annual budget and ensure cost-effectiveness.

Manage and coordinate all IT-related matters including data, wireless communications, mobile technology, telephony, security, and computer hardware and software.

Troubleshoot all technology issues.

Maintain log and/or list of required repairs and maintenance.

Make recommendations about the purchase of technology resources.

Research current and potential resources and services.

Provide network access to all staff and maintain internal networks.

Regularly liaise with other professionals to ensure the smooth running of IT systems.

Qualifications:

Must be bilingual (English / Mandarin)

Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or equivalent work experience.

Proven working experience as an IT director or in a similar role.

Strong understanding of IT Systems, Networks, and ERP.

Background in designing/developing IT systems and planning IT implementation.

A strong strategic and business mindset.

Excellent organizational and leadership skills.

Experience in controlling information technology budget.

Excellent problem-solving, leadership, and customer service skills.
