Big O Tires has openings for experienced Lead Automotive Technicians in ourPuyallup Service Centeras well as our other Big O Tire Service Centers

Our Lead Automotive technicians / mechanics must be self-starters, self-motivated and have the ability to work in a team atmosphere & learn new tasks. Candidates should have excellent communication,time management skills and ASE Certifications in all related Automotive Service Fields is a plus.

Employee Referral ProgramJob Responsibilities of Lead Automotive Technician:

Diagnoses and repairs to Mfgs specifications brake, exhaust, primary and/or advanced fuel ignition and electrical, suspension and alignment, air conditioning and computer systems.

Communicates technical diagnoses and needed repairs, which will include employees and customers on an as-required basis.

Ongoing training with new technical information and techniques in formal training sessions in order to stay abreast with rapidly changing automotive technology.

Interface with store management on mechanical repair issues as they occur.

Maintains a safe, organized neat and service area.

Assisting all technician mechanics in performing technical activities.Qualifications:

Performs Courtesy Checks, Complete Vehicle Inspections and Diagnosis of Tire, Brakes, Steering and Suspension, and General Repairs.

Proficient in all Phases of Tire Mounting, Repair, Balancing, and TPMS systems

ASE Certification Preferred

Minimum 3-5 years of current automotive experience

Must be able to excel in fast paced team environment

Must have a good work ethic

Must be able to communicate effectively

Availability to work Saturdays

Ability to learn new concepts and use technical materials

Capability to safely operate automatic and manual transmission vehicles

Ability to move and lift up to 75 pounds
