Agile Decision Sciences (ADS,) a subsidiary of ASRC Federal, is seeking a Reference Librarian to support our nationwide contract to provide the U.S.

Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) with library and records management services.

Responsibilities: * Provide reference services by responding to patron requests for business and environmental information.

Conduct reference interviews, research information and resources, and communicate results to the requestor.

* Provide virtual or in-person training and instruction on library resources such as databases, finding aids, or other user tools.

* Conduct citation verification and submit interlibrary lending and borrowing requests.

* Maintain daily activity statistics and produce detailed weekly and monthly activity reports or summaries of library services.

* Provide collection development recommendations and copy cataloging of materials for the library collection.

* Engage in library outreach and marketing programs to promote resources or special events.

Develop content for the library’s internal SharePoint site.

This is a part-time position with benefits and will work 32 hours a week.

The prorated salary for this position is a starting salary of $47,673.00 but can be higher depending on experience, seniority, geographic locations and other factors permitted by law.

This role will not exceed a starting salary of $51,000.00.

This position will work a 32-hour work week, Monday through Thursday, with every Friday off.

We are currently in the EPA Library one day a week (Wednesday) and work primarily remote.

This is subject to change.

* MS degree in Library/Information Science from an ALA-accredited institution * A minimum of 1-2 years of library experience, including conducting reference interviews, performing structured database searches, and communicating results.

Basic cataloging skills are desirable.

* Experience with information technology as it relates to library services.

This includes technologies such as virtual reference, web conferencing and remote instruction.

* Experience with providing user instruction in group settings.

* Excellent customer service skills and strong organizational skills with attention to detail required.

Excellent written and oral communication skills.

* Experience with MS Office applications.

SharePoint experience is a plus.

* Ability to work independently, to communicate effectively with colleagues and customers, to prioritize and manage multiple on-going projects, to quickly adapt to change, and to meet deadlines.

* Ability to pass a government background investigation which requires Permanent Residency or US Citizenship.
