Water/Fire/Mold Mitigation Technician

No experience is necessary. On the job training is provided. Must live within 40 minutes of our shop - 1116 Ave, Ridgefield, NJ 07657 Hours: Monday-Friday, 7:30 a.m.-4:00 p.m. Plus after hours work w bonus pay and after hrs pay. NJ Water and Mold is expanding its services in Northern New Jersey. We are hiring and training additional technicians to help us respond to burst pipes and water lines, hot water heater ruptures, mold clean up, fire and smoke damage, and much more. Our technicians rotate on an on-call schedule so that we are able to respond to emergency situations at night and on weekends or when we have severe weather.

NJ Water and Mold pays for your training and industry certifications. We want you to grow with us!

You can work your way up to a field supervisor, estimator, or management. We are looking for "street smart" technicians who have the ability to think on their feet. Job Responsibilities Include:

Prepping trucks and equipment for emergencies

Assess and attend to damage at a clients property

Set-up and monitor equipment

Take pictures and document progress of loss

Perform demolition of loss if necessary

Be safe and follow guidelines established through industry standards

Ensure proper maintenance of vehicles and equipment

Attend daily production meetings for job updates and/or changes

Attend on the job classes, seminars, webinars, or other training to expand current knowledge and skills

Provide feedback to supervisors, management, and staff to constantly improve our processes and procedures
