Dimensional Engineer

As a Dimensional Engineer you will be responsible for;

Providing applicable specifications and targets to all stakeholders involved in the manufacturing process.

Troubleshooting build issues on the manufacturing floor, such as parts not fitting together or appearance defects caused by poor fits.

Conducting statistical analysis using VA software to enhance process efficiency.

Improving part location strategies and checking fixture concepts to optimize manufacturing operations.

Validating system and component GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) compatibility with the overall vehicle strategy.

Qualifications;

Master of Science degree in mechanical engineering or a related field.

Knowledge of ASME Y14.5 GD&T standard and familiarity with engineering drawings.

3-5 years of manufacturing process experience.

Strong proficiency in VA software and a solid understanding of basic statistical concepts and process control (Six Sigma).

Familiarity with various manufacturing processes, including injection molding, metal stamping, and machining.

Knowledge of measurement systems and manufacturing/assembly processes.

Proficient in PC tools such as PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.

Strong knowledge of CATIA V5, CATIA V6, and visualization software is preferred.

Salary Range: $110,000-115,000

The actual salary offered is dependent on various factors including, but not limited to, location, the candidate’s combination of job-related knowledge, qualifications, skills, education, training, and experience.
