Risk Analyst

Job Summary

The Risk Analyst is responsible for providing analytical support for claims related to workers compensation, auto, ocean marine, liability, and other lines of coverage. Manages and implements loss prevention and safety programs across the organization. Administers and monitors a wide variety of risk management and insurance program activities. This position interacts with all levels of employees throughout the company, including Senior Leadership, Fresenius SE Insurance, Accounting, Financial Planning & Analysis, Sales, Legal and HR.

*This position requires working on-site 3+ days per week in Lake Zurich, IL. This position is not eligible for current or future visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

Assist in preparation of Annual Budget, Long Range Plan, and quarterly Forecasts for cost centers and revenue as well as help prepare related management presentations.

Manage and lead claim activities for Region North America.

Monitor status of claims and potential claims for exposure and incurred costs; develop and maintain claim expense tracking system to ensure accurate loss run reporting.

Act as subject matter expert and is the single point of contact to the employee, their supervisor(s) and the carrier claim adjusters and nurse case managers to streamline the claim process and reduce cost development.

Train, problem solve, and provide organization expertise on claim management.

Manage insurance certificates for both Fresenius Kabi US and from third parties doing business with FK US.

Manage Company’s fleet administration related to accident reporting, insurance cards and motor vehicle report (MVR) monitoring.

Manage the corporate surety bonding program regarding new requests, and renewal of existing bonds and processing invoices.

Communicate directly with all insurance carrier and legal parties regarding claims.

Collaborate with both internal and external customers during the claim process.

Provide support in data and risk analysis for projects as needed.

Job Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Risk Management, Business, Finance or other related field or equivalent experience.

Must possess intermediate Excel skills. Understanding of other MS Office applications also required.

3+ years of Risk Management experience, either in a corporate environment, insurance company, claims administrator, or at an insurance brokerage firm is a plus.

ARM, CPCU, Producer’s License, CRMP or similar credentials preferred.

Experience in the pharmaceutical industry a plus.
