The Opportunity:

This role will support new and innovative projects being developed by our team. You will contribute systems engineering support and oversight to the wider multi-disciplinary team. We are developing cutting-edge technology in a challenging environment, this will give you valuable exposure and accountability. As the project scales-up your role will continue to grow and diversify to accommodate iterative changes and client demands.

To be successful in this role, we require a Systems Engineer that is capable of:

Conduct requirement analysis and development

Conduct design development and integration

Conduct Verification & Validation (V&V)

Creation of associated plans, procedures, processes and documentation

Work within a multidisciplinary team to develop design requirements in the context of engineering change management and configuration management

Assist with preparation and/or review of work instructions

Working within management standards and established industry practices

Develop and maintain relationships with key customer and supplier contacts

As the ideal candidate you will bring:

Essential:

Degree qualified, Member (or Eligible for membership) of Engineers Australia in relevant electrical engineering discipline

Experienced in Systems Engineering practice using EIA-632/IEEE 15288 or equivalent

Hands-on experience in configuration management practice

Understanding of the ASDEFCON Contracting framework (above and/or below the line)

Experience in risk management

Hold an NV1 (or greater) Security Clearance

Desirable:

SATCOM engineering experience

Experience in requirements management and use of DOORs and V&V planning and test execution is highly desirable
