The Trade Development Director is the epicenter of Supplier Programming and Activation in the State. Your responsibilities impact both Front of House (Sales) and Back of House (Margin, Inventory…). Critical to your success is the ability to collaborate with others while driving high standards.

This includes Johnson Brothers Sales and Operations, Our Suppliers / Brand Owners and Customers. The role needs to walk a fine line between growing profitable volume while managing Sales Capacity / Prioritization and Supplier Expectations.

Because this role spans all channels and aspects of the business, the induvial needs to have a broad-based understanding of Sales, Pricing, Planning, Budget Management and Forecasting.

Responsibilities:

• Builds Supplier Planning, Programming / Promotional Calendars

• Develops, Coordinates and Disseminates Sales Tools

• Develops and coordinates Incentives / Prioritization (with Sales Mgt Input)

• Pricing / Profit Management (Sales Admin position will Report into this Role)

• POS Management (Incoming and Outgoing)

• Supplier Banks, Brand Development Fund and Local Marketing Fund Management

• Logility Forecast Updates (with Sales Input) / Inventory Management

• Coordinates Supplier Meetings, Reviews, Ride Withs and Blitzes

• RFP Support as needed

• Brand Activation / Event Management

• Monthly Newsletter Oversite

• JB Hub Support / Focus Areas

Requirements:

The perfect candidate will have

• 3+ years of distributor experience

• 1+ Year Supplier experience

• Advanced Microsoft office experience (Excel, Work, PowerPoint, Outlook) with a high proficiency in Excel a must

• Previous experience with data and pricing analysis

• Extensive PowerBi knowledge

• AS400 experience (preferred)
