The Mental Health Professional is a clinical role responsible for counseling and case management services. This role will maintain a patient caseload, providing intervention within established treatment guidelines, policies, and procedures. The position will actively advocate on behalf of your patients. This is a benefited full-time position with a salary range of $66,560 - $85,000 annually, paid out bi-weekly.

How You’ll Contribute:

Provide person-centered counseling, advocacy, and case management for patients.

Develop treatment plans that clearly identify the patient’s voice, strategies, and specific outcome measures.

Meet agency documentation standards and authorization requirements of contracts.

Strategically tailor effective clinical/case management services to meet diverse patient needs.

Contribute to the success of CME expectations and core values, continuously learning and performing other duties as needed or assigned.Requirements:

Designated as a Mental Health Professional as defined in the WAC for Behavioral Health organizations required:

A psychiatrist, psychologist, psychiatric nurse, or social worker as defined in chapters 71.05 and 71.34 RCW;

A person whom the Department of Health licenses as a mental health counselor, mental health counselor associate, marriage and family therapist, or marriage and family therapist associate;

A person who meets the waiver criteria of RCW 71.24.260, which was granted prior to 1986.

Must have at least 2 years of experience in direct treatment of persons with mental illness or emotional disturbance, such experience gained under the supervision of a mental health professional.

Previous experience providing mental health counseling services is preferred.

Additional Requirments:

Master’s degree or Doctorate in counseling or one of the behavioral sciences from an accredited college or university.

Current valid driver’s license and automobile liability insurance; Ability to pass ongoing background checks. Washington State Patrol clearance

Ability to write clearly and informatively; edit work for spelling and grammar; varies writing style to meet needs; present numerical data effectively; able to read and interpret written information.

Ability to perform basic arithmetic accurately and quickly. Experience in data collection and evaluation processes.

Strong knowledge of computer software, especially MS Office (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
