Roles and Responsibilities :
● Develop, implement and maintain cybersecurity features in embedded systems used in automotive applications
● Conduct threat and risk assessments for automotive embedded systems
● Conduct penetration testing of embedded systems to identify vulnerabilities
● Develop and maintain security protocols for automotive embedded systems
● Implement secure boot and secure firmware update mechanisms in automotive embedded systems
● Work with cross-functional teams to ensure security requirements are met in automotive embedded systems
● Stay up to date with the latest trends and developments in cybersecurity for embedded systems in the automotive industry
● Develop and maintain documentation related to cybersecurity for automotive embedded systems
● Conduct training sessions for other team members on cybersecurity concepts and best practices
Requirements
● Proficiency in programming languages such as C, C++, and assembly language
● Deep understanding of cybersecurity concepts and techniques (e.g. cryptography, secure boot, secure firmware update, penetration testing)
● Experience with automotive communication protocols (e.g. CAN, LIN, Ethernet)
● Familiarity with automotive electronics and systems
● Experience with software development tools and methodologies used in the automotive industry (e.g. AUTOSAR, MISRA)
● Excellent communication and collaboration skills
● Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Experience :
9 years of experience in embedded systems development with a focus on cybersecurity in the automotive industry
