Job Title: Office/Accounting Manager
Work Hours: Monday-Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM
Job Type: Direct Hire
Job Location: Waco, TX
Pay: $18-$20/hr DOE
DUTIES
Manage all business aspects of the Company including banking, accounting, county, state and federal tax reporting and submittals, A/R, A/P, and HR functions (including payroll, benefit management, training, safety,hiring, and employee discharge).
Perform inventory and general ledger review and make adjusting journal entries monthly and annually.
Prepare year-end reports for review with CPA.Supervise accounting personnel in performing all functions of the accounting department including, but notlimited to, the following:
1.) Answer and route telephone calls, take and deliver messages.
2.) Answer customer inquiries about company.
3.) Perform basic bookkeeping duties including data entry.
4.) Collect, count and balance cash drawer.
5.) Mail/Email statements and invoices.
6.) Manage company calendars.
7.) Organize office activities.
8.) Operate office machines and equipment.
9.) Manage data processing network, resolve issues, and notify IT Support when needed.
10.) Assist with reorder and restock of office supplies.
11.) Other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS
Performance of the above duties requires the following:
1.) High School education minimum - Some college preferred.
2.) Must have a clear drug/substance abuse record and comply with Company’s zero tolerance
drug/substance abuse policy.
3.) Congenial – ability to work effectively with different personality types and be a team player.
4.) Ability to concentrate in active environment.
5.) Must give high priority to integrity, accuracy and attention to details.
6.) Must have good verbal and written English communication skills.
7.) Knowledge of accounting principles.
8.) Knowledge of general office systems and procedures.
9.) Knowledge of Microsoft PC software and data networks.
10.) Must have good data entry skills.
