CCB Packaging, a locally owned leader in the packaging industry, is looking for a Sanitation Superintendent to join our team! This position will develop and direct all sanitation efforts in a food manufacturing facility and will protect the facility through standardized and sustainable processes that will deliver sanitation and food safety programs that are efficient, effective and consistent. This is an hourly position working primarily day shift hours, with the flexibility to modify work hours as business needs dictate.

Responsibilities of the position include:

• Lead, develop and coach all personnel involved with sanitation to ensure proper cleaning and sanitizing procedures are followed and that food safety programs are adhered to.

• Optimize resources while ensuring compliance with SQF, AIB, FDA, USDA and all other governmental / customer policies, procedures and regulations.

• Demonstrate audit and regulatory compliance.

• Ensure accuracy of all aspects of the Master Cleaning Schedule (MCS) are maintained and updated.

• Assign work activities of all Sanitation personnel and perform verification at designated frequencies.

• Demonstrate knowledge and utilization of cleaning chemicals.

• Maintain OPLs, Work Instructions and Sanitation policies to ensure compliance.

• Monitor and enforce proper sanitation and housekeeping procedures.

• Accurately review, process and file electronic and hard copy documentation.

• Assist with investigating and diagnosing sanitation issues in a timely manner and ensure follow-through with corrective action.

• Provide designated training to all Sanitation staff to ensure all requirements are met.

• Lead and actively participate in Sanitation PMs of production lines (including both manual and automated lines).

• Perform assigned tasks including inspections and accountability of equipment.

• Operate a variety of equipment including, but not limited to, floor scrubbers, steamers, vacuums, etc.

• Perform light duty maintenance on sanitation equipment.

• Work with external contractors as necessary in order to optimize efficiencies.

• Ensure Sanitation staff is performing all assigned tasks safely and utilizing proper PPE.

• Conduct LOTO operations to meet all applicable requirements and monitor program compliance of the Sanitation staff.

• Flexibility to modify work schedule in order to meet requirements in specific situations.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required

• 3-5 years related experience required; Previous leadership experience preferred

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to demonstrate effective leadership skills with strong attention to detail

• Self-motivated with the ability to solve problems and make decisions both independently and within a cross-functional team

• Project management and organizational skills

• Mechanical aptitude for light duty maintenance equipmentRequirements:
