CFS Operations Manager

Maersk is looking for a seasoned warehouse/CFS leader, with a minimum 10 years of experience in the said domain of SCM + Consolidation. This position would be based at Chittagong managing the Bangladesh consolidation sites and reporting to Consol Ops Lead IBS . The incumbent will be responsible for leading & executing the consolidation projects for Bangladesh. The person will support the Product Manager and the customer experience teams in leading discussions with the customers (in tandem with internal stakeholders viz. commercial foals, HSSE, Operations, Procurement, etc), understanding scope of work (inclusions & exclusions), process understanding, lay out designing, lesioning with the External vendors/suppliers and Internal stakeholders/focals viz. Solution Design team, Operations team, Procurement team and Finance focals in tandem with the Product Head. He/She would take end-to-end ownership & accountability right from handover from Implementation till execution.

Subject matter knowledge w.r.t. Buyer’s consolidation and warehouse management and associated warehouse technology

Good communication, Analytical skills & PnL acumen

Should have good problem-solving skills & should be able to resolve conflicts (both internal as well as with customer stake holders)

Hands on experience in on-ground project execution and reporting

Ability to plan the deliverables across roles and monitor the same on a day-to-day basis

Exposure to key industry verticals of Chemicals (DG/Non-DG), Automotive, FMCD, FMCG, Retail & Lifestyle, Hi-tech

Passion for customers and customer intimacy

Openness to for strategic thinking and tactical delivery

Result orientation and execution drive

Knowledge of key statutory & HSSE compliances
