Our client is a chemicals manufacturer and leading provider of agricultural products, services, and solutions. A fantastic opportunity exists for a Senior Reliability Engineer (Mechanical) based at one of their production facilities in Augusta, GA.
Responsibilities:
The primary function of this role is to grow a robust reliability centered operation where all levels of the organization are engaged in programs and tools to improve and sustain equipment reliability
Perform engineering duties including investigating equipment problems and recommending design modifications to improve reliability, productivity, and safety of Nitrogen production assets.
Conduct failure analysis to determine the root cause of equipment failures and recommend improvements in design, administrative, and/or PPM (predictive and preventive maintenance) measures to reduce or eliminate failures
Manage corrective actions to closure generated from RCFA’s
Participate in the site’s Mechanical Integrity and Process Safety Management program
Participate and support the “Bad Actor and Lost Tons” team and develop action plans to address the reliability issues
Perform equipment and Production history data analysis to identify and prioritize areas for reliability improvements
Develop and issue recommendation memos for key stakeholders
Assist with managing the End-of-Life document and share with stakeholders twice a year
Manage the Plant Vulnerabilities list
What you will bring:
· Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related engineering discipline, plus 3 years’ experience in a maintenance or reliability engineering role in a chemical production facility.
