This may include washing, peeling, cutting, and cooking various ingredients.

Dishwashing and Cleaning: Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment to maintain cleanliness and hygiene.

Keep the kitchen area clean and organized, following safety and sanitation protocols.

Food Storage: Properly store food and supplies, ensuring that all items are labeled and kept at appropriate temperatures.

Rotate stock to minimize waste and ensure food safety.

Assisting the Cook: Support the head cook or chef with various kitchen tasks, including assembling meal trays, serving food, and portioning meals according to dietary requirements.

Safety and Compliance: Adhere to all health and safety regulations in the kitchen, including proper handling of food and cleaning chemicals.

Use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required and report any safety concerns to supervisors.

Collaboration: Work closely with other kitchen staff and daycare team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations and timely meal service.

Communicate effectively with colleagues to coordinate tasks and resolve any issues.

Qualifications: LMIA approval for Kitchen Helper position.

Previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment is preferred but not required.
