DIRECT HIRE - Maintenance Technician 2nd and 3rd Shift
- Non Journeyman - $30.25 + Shift Premium for 2nd and 3rd
- Journeyman - $33.50 + Shift Premium for 2nd and 3rd
2nd Shift - 2 pm - 10 pm
3rd Shift - 10 pm - 6 am

Position Summary
In this role, you will be working in the maintenance department in an automotive manufacturing facility. Experience operating or working on robots is a must have.
Position Responsibilities
Work safely, following safety work instructions or designated safety procedures (such as Lock Out Tag Out).
Lead development of cell(s) during launch to de-bug and assist in correcting all tooling, robotic, controls, weld cycles and all other equipment related improvements.
Troubleshoot machine breakdowns and carry out remedial actions.
Supports all necessary data collection required for cell and product improvement initiatives.
Inspect all machinery for defects and potential problems in accordance with preventative maintenance program; repair and replace parts as required.
Perform general equipment maintenance duties as required e.g. cleaning, oiling and greasing machines according to the preventative maintenance program.
Perform basic mechanical and pipe fitting is a plus.
Program robots for sealants, adhesives, mastics, MIG and resistance welding.
Advise Facilities Manager to order replacement parts as required.
Make adjustments in welding program when required.
Lead efficiency and cycle time improvement.
Trains associates as required in welding, robotics and PLC’s as needed.
Set up robotic welding stations by operating/retrieving various computer programs stored in robotic welding equipment.
Adjust equipment and change welding fixtures as necessary to ensure good quality welding within given parameters.
Participate in Continuous Improvement and assist in its implementation on an ongoing basis.
Modify existing equipment and install new equipment as required / approved by Facilities or Engineering Manager.
Troubleshoot and diagnose electric/electronic system faults, tune equipment and ensure adequate controls and safety measures are functional
Minimum Requirements
2+ years experience in maintenance repair/robotics/welding applications
Aluminum GMAW experience
Prefer spot welding and resistance welding experience
Strong work ethic and desire to learn
Strong knowledge of electrical functioning, hydraulic and pneumatic machinery
HMI experience
