Responsibilities:

Manage administrative tasks in a medical setting, including patient scheduling, record-keeping, and coordination of appointments.

Assist in the preparation and maintenance of patient medical records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations.

Calling to schedule patient appointments

Managing patient inquiries with professionalism and empathy.

Facilitate insurance verification as needed

Assist in maintaining a clean and organized medical office environment

Provide administrative support to healthcare professionals, such as preparing documents, reports, and correspondence.

Maintain confidentiality of patient information and adhere to HIPAA regulations.

Collaborate with medical staff to ensure seamless communication and workflow within the healthcare facility.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as an administrative medical assistant or in a similar role.

Familiarity with medical terminology, procedures, and electronic health records (EHR) systems.

Strong organizational and multitasking skills in a fast-paced medical environment.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with patients, colleagues, and healthcare providers.

Knowledge of insurance verification (preferred)

Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining accurate medical records.

Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.

Certification as a Medical Assistant is preferred.

High school diploma or equivalent; additional training in medical administration is a plus.
