JOB TITLE: Youth and Family Wraparound Supervisor
REPORTS TO: YES Waiver Program Director
JOB SUMMARY
The position of Wraparound Supervisor provides day-to-day supervision, coaching, and oversight of the implementation of the National Wraparound Implementation Center (NWIC) model of Wraparound. The Wraparound Supervisor assists in hiring staff, conducts training for new hires, and provides ongoing supervision and coaching to ensure the adequate and appropriate delivery of services and fidelity to the NWIC Wraparound model.
RESPONSIBILITIES
General Responsibilities:
Full-time, office based position
Adhere to all current federal and state laws, as well as CFGC Policies and Procedures, including the safeguarding of confidential healthcare information and compliance with the Health Insurance Portability & Accountability Act (HIPAA)
Comply with initial and annual training requirements
Attend staff/agency meetings as required
Maintain cooperative working relationships with all agency staff and community partners
Perform duties without violating any ethical codes, state or federal codes or requirements
Demonstrate and promote a positive and strengths-based attitude and organizational culture
Wraparound Supervision:
Conduct weekly supervision/coaching sessions with assigned Wraparound Facilitators (maximum of 7 Facilitators assigned to each Supervisor)
Assign tasks to Wraparound Facilitators during coaching sessions and follow-up with progress to ensure completion and hold staff accountable in meeting identified goals
Conduct service note reviews to ensure compliance with NWIC standards
Audio record supervision/coaching sessions
Upload a minimum of one coaching session per month to the Virtual Coaching Platform (VCP) for Wraparound Coach to review, in conjunction with a completed CREST and SAS
Engage in field observations with each Team Lead 2x per year
Engage in field observations with each Wraparound Facilitator 2x per year
Plan and facilitate one group supervision/training per month occurring during staff meetings in order to target areas of needed skill development
Maintain and review data tracking sheets; utilize data and trends to set organizational, team, and individual goals as applicable
Interview potential employees and make employment recommendations
Facilitate orientation and training for new hires along with Program Director and Team Lead
Provide additional, ongoing individual and group staff training as needed
Assist with community networking to promote and further develop the organization and program
Act as an agency representative at interagency meetings of providers as assigned
Assists Program Director in maintaining the Inquiry Line to receive calls and conduct intake assessments for potential program participants
Complete other duties as assigned by the YES Waiver Program Director
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Knowledge:
Strong understanding of child mental health disorders, treatment of disorders, and documentation of treatment provided. Knowledge of confidentiality and ethical guidelines for practice. Knowledge and understanding of the Wraparound (NWIC) model.
Education and Experience:
Must possess a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in rehab counseling, psychology, social work, or related field as specified in the Texas Administrative Code for QMHP qualifications.
Skills:
Should possess strong therapeutic skills, oral and written communication skills, and organizational skills.
Must be goal oriented, motivated, capable of working independently and using good judgment.
Must possess a strong understanding and ability to work with diverse populations including various cultures, racial groups, and socio-economic levels.
Must demonstrate adequate performance of leadership duties.
Must have a working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and Medisoft billing and scheduling system or similar product.
Ability to relate to consumers, employees, and the general public in a professional manner. Ability to follow verbal and written instructions. Must be able to prioritize. Ability to adhere to articulated policy and procedures.
