Business Consultant - Asia Pacific Region

Roles and responsibilities

The Business Consultant for Asia Pacific (APAC) will lead business consulting activities in the APAC pole, reporting to the global Business Consulting Lead. This role will support global Business Consulting activities as well as Regional Solutions Consulting activities across the region with the following activities:

1) C-level engagements & presentation:

. Drive top-to-top engagement for Asia Pacific between Honeywell and customer executives

. Understand the customer's operating model and value levers

. Assess the customer's Digital Transformation plan and link with Honeywell Solutions

. Develop a storyline for C-level interactions

. Prepare and lead presentations with senior customer leadership

2) Diagnostic workshop & studies

. Frame objective & workplan for customer diagnostic exercise (could range between a free half day workshop and a commercial multi-month engagement)

. Write diagnostic consulting proposals

. Lead the diagnostic study team (typical engagement management role with 2-5 team members) - and be the main focal point for customers during the study

. Consolidate final report including gap analysis, recommendations, adoption roadmap, etc

. Support follow-up actions with internal teams on individual initiative development

3) Business development & strategy setting:

. Work independently with Honeywell executive leadership on strategic corporate initiatives

. Support on innovative Go-to-Market (GTM) approaches and action them with customers (e.g., customer segmentation, NPI strategy)

. Drive initiatives for partnerships for GTM, e.g., Strategy consultants, IT consultants, System Integrators, Channel Partners, Technology Partners - and develop business relationships/ partnerships with them to increase market access and reach

. Support in defining and executing sales programs in collaboration with teams (e.g., program managing white space analyses, executing approach in enterprise selling)

. Support sales in pipeline development (e.g., demo, conference)

. Track value delivery of on-going contracts and consolidate (sometimes build) case studies

4) Organizational Transformation

. Support broader organization to shift from traditional product to value focused selling

. Conduct internal trainings / Share best practice & case studies

Skills and qualifications

. Prior consulting experience at minimum at Engagement Manager / Project Lead level or above (3 years experience minimum) at leading Consulting firms in Strategy and/or operations functions

. Industry knowledge and/or experience in Oil & Gas, Chemicals, MMM highly preferred

. Master's degree in engineering highly preferred

. Outstanding client-facing communication skills, including deep experience in preparing and delivering C-suite level presentations and executive communications

. Outstanding analytical problem solving skills, including ability to quickly identify and define business drivers and customer needs

. Strong quantitative skills, including financial modelling, scenario planning, value analysis etc.

. Ability to travel 30% internationally from office location
