AGM/DGM-Finance and Accounting

The client company is seeking for the professional, wherein S/He will play a key role in overseeing the financial operations and strategy of our manufacturing unit. Responsible for managing financial planning and analysis, budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and financial reporting activities to support the company's goals and objectives.

This role is Head of Finance and Accounts client Location 4 team members will report under him, in charge of complete plant finance operations – S/He reportees include cashier /accountant /MIS/ F&A Manager. The role will report to Head of Manufacturing as well administratively.

Must Haves for the role:

10+ years of experience in core Accounting, audit and taxation functions in manufacturing companies. Proven experience of atleast 3+ years in a team managerial role in finance, accounting, or auditing.

ICWA Inter (preferred cost accountancy qualification) + MBA or Qualified ICWA OR CA Inter

The person will manage 500+ crores of working capital per annum at the textile plant and hence should have managed minimum 200+ crores of working capital in his current or previous set up. Preferred is 350+ crores of working capital management

Preferably from Indian firms as there are cash transactions here as well despite there being SAP as SAP adoption is

slow

Should be extremely good at plant accounting with minimum 10 years in plant accounting, preferably textile plants. Else any manufacturing will do

Telugu speaking as the person will be interacting with telugu speaking ground level vendors and employees

Knowledge of SAP implementation required.

Worked in SAP environment and thorough in SAP modules to guide the team for controls and guidance across the functions.

Thorough knowledge of Ind GAAP, Ind AS, and Indian taxation laws.

Strong leadership and team management skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in work.

Good to Haves for the role:

Prior experience in Listed companies with respect to stock market.

Being a part of IPO (Initial Public Offering) activities

Prior direct experience of working in Plant Accounting department and should have risen up the ladder.
