Job Description

Reporting into the head of innovation, you will be responsible for:

Managing development of new products/colours, modification of existing products for cost reduction, performance optimisation, process standardisation etc. in accordance with customer requirements to ensure customer satisfaction with the product.

Ensuring processes & systems are followed by the team during product development.

Providing technical support to OEM customers, handle customer complaints and should be able to conduct technical reviews with respect to customers.

Providing support to various functions such as marketing for techno commercial negotiations, evaluating alternate materials for cost / performance / rationalisation etc as & when required

Implementing 5S and safe lab work practices and maintain clean and hygienic workplace in lab.

The Successful Applicant

BTech/ MTech (Paint technology/Oil/Plastics/Polymers/Surface Coatings/Chemistry) or B.Sc./M.Sc. (Chemistry/Plastics/Polymer)

15-20 years of experience in NPD/Technology/Technical Services in Chemical OR Paint industry

Extensive hands-on experience of the industry's best practices and should have people management skills & leadership competencies.
