Who we're looking for:

We are seeking a highly experienced and innovative Senior Business Analyst to join our team at VML. As a Senior Business Analyst, you will work on digital transformation initiatives, applying design thinking principles to deliver exceptional digital solutions that meet our clients' strategic objectives. In addition to leading projects, you will mentor and guide junior Business Analysts, fostering their growth and development within the organization.

What you'll be doing:

Design Thinking and Digital Transformation:

• Apply design thinking methodologies to drive digital transformation initiatives, focusing on innovation, human-centered design, and business impact.

• Champion a user-centric mindset throughout the project lifecycle, advocating for the needs and preferences of end-users in solution design and delivery.

• Collaborate with clients to identify opportunities for process optimization, customer engagement enhancement, and strategic differentiation through digital technologies.

Requirements Gathering and Analysis:

• Conduct in-depth stakeholder interviews and workshops to understand client business goals, user needs, and project requirements.

• Lead the elicitation, documentation, and prioritization of functional and non-functional requirements, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.

• Utilize advanced analytical techniques to interpret data and uncover insights that inform solution design and decision-making.

Solution Design and Documentation:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate requirements into detailed specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria.

• Support the creation of wireframes, prototypes, and other design artifacts to articulate proposed solutions and facilitate client engagement.

• Develop comprehensive documentation, including business process models, system architectures, and data mappings, to support solution development.

Leading and Mentoring:

• Provide leadership and guidance to junior Business Analysts, overseeing their work and ensuring adherence to best practices and quality standards.

• Foster a collaborative and supportive team environment, encouraging knowledge sharing, skill development, and continuous improvement.

• Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to support the professional growth and advancement of team members.

Client Communication and Relationship Management:

• Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, building strong relationships and effectively communicating project status, insights, and recommendations.

• Lead client workshops and presentations to facilitate requirements gathering, solution design, and decision-making processes.

• Proactively identify opportunities for additional value-added services and contribute to account growth and expansion.

What you'll need:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field

• Proven track record of success as a Senior Business Analyst in a digital agency or similar environment, with extensive experience in website and app development, UX/UI design, and digital transformation.

• Strong leadership and mentoring skills, with the ability to inspire and empower junior team members to achieve excellence.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with clients, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams at all levels.

• Proficiency in design thinking methodologies and tools, with a demonstrated ability to apply human-centered design principles to solve complex business problems.
