Manager - Shift Operations

Monitoring of Shift Activities which includes vessel/rail/road operations and ensuring targets and deadlines are effectively met.

Job Allocation and engagement of company and outsourced staff.

Achievement of optimum productivity levels and reliability of service to customers.

Contribute to continuous improvement.

Contribute to the meeting of Business/Operational targets and objectives.

Supervise and manage the terminal supervisory group into an efficient and effective team.

Liaise with inter-departments for proper service from 'supporting' departments.

Effective monitoring to achieve set operational Goals / Targets.

Trend-setting and analysis of operational parameters.

Seamless inter-shift flow of work.

Ensure safe and correct working practices.

Berthing and Un-berthing Timelines set up are achieved.

To comply with all aspects of IGTPL's Quality, Health, Safety, Environment, and Supply chain security management systems'

Qualifications:

Graduation

Marine-related Experience of a minimum of 10 years. Experience in Container Terminals would be an added advantage.

Adequate knowledge and know-how of shipping and terminal operations.

In Senior Supervisory and Management position for the 5 years.

Good interpersonal skills/etiquette for effective and efficient communication

Full time
