We are hiring for My SQL DBA

We are looking for immediate joiners (less than 30 days)

Job Type : Full time

Location : Chandigarh

Experience : 7+ Yrs

As My SQL DBA, here's what you can do:

â— Provision RDS instances, both in stand-alone, clustered, replica, cross-region replica

â— Ensure performance, security, and availability of databases

â— Prepare documentation and specifications

â— Handle common database procedures, such as upgrade, backup, recovery, migration,

etc.

â— Profile server resource usage, optimize and tweak as necessary

â— Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders

As My SQL DBA,here's what you will bring:

â— Strong proficiency in MySQL & Postgres database management

â— In-depth understanding of data management (e.g. permissions, recovery, security and

monitoring)

â— Ensure all database programs meet company and performance requirements

â— Should be hands-on in tuning & Optimizing SQL queries and stored procedures.

â— Optimize sql statements, specially for data-load & data-update.

â— Decent experience with recent versions of AWS RDS & MySQL

â— Understanding of MySQL's underlying storage engines, such as InnoDB and MyISAM

â— Knowledge of de-facto standards and best practices in MySQL

â— Knowledge of MySQL features, such as its event scheduler

â— Ability to plan resource requirements from high level specifications

â— Knowledge of limitations in MySQL

â— A broad familiarity with existing standards unds in contrast to other popular relational

databases

â— Good knowledge of AWS, RDS

â— SQL Concepts (Basic + Advanced)

â— Troubleshooting skills

â— Proficient understanding of code versioning tools such as Git / SVN
