The Finance Analyst will be the “go to” person for all lease accounting matters and will play an integral role in the general accounting team.

The role will take full responsibility for the accuracy and completeness of our lease accounting and will be a valued business partner to our business development and legal teams, as well as being the key contact person for our landlords. They will be responsible for production of journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and support internal/ external audits.

The finance analyst will join a high-performing team and will work cross-functionally to monitor controls and key processes and to ensure continuous improvement. This will include:

Supporting the Tapestry Europe finance control team and monthly close process, which includes posting journal entries, performing reconciliations, and closing the legal entity books;

Assisting in maintaining and improving our internal controls and processes;

Building close working relationships with the FP&A team and cross business partners;

Supporting the wider finance team on current initiatives; and

Ad hoc analysis.

A Bachelor’s Degree

ACA/ACCA part qualified or qualified

Minimum of 3 years+ accounting experience at multinational public company or major accounting firm

Strong technical accounting skills, including extensive experience with lease accounting under US GAAP, IFRS and UK GAAP

Strong Excel Skills

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Self-starter, takes initiative, highly motivated

Ability to multi task and be flexible regarding changing priorities and tight deadlines

Ability to perform critical analysis and thinking, prioritize and problem solve

Excellent verbal and written communication skills
