About the Role

Prepare and manage the tax return process for Fugro’s Singapore entities, in addition to managing tax return compliance across the broader SEA region;

Provide timely and knowledgeable advice to the business on local and international taxes across various projects;

Lead and assist in tax planning and tax compliance projects to improve overall efficiency of tax processes and procedures;

Manage small team a dedicated Tax professionals;

Assist in the preparation and maintenance of necessary Transfer Pricing documentation;

Ensure the compliance of indirect taxes within SEA region. (i.e. GST/VAT) and employment tax;

Manage monthly, quarterly and annual tax provision process, including tax reporting requirements to Fugro NV.

Provide advice/due diligence on restructures, acquisitions/divestments and general business planning.

Build and maintain relationships with key internal/external stakeholders (i.e. internal commercial/finance stakeholders, tax authorities, external advisors etc…)

Perform tax research and analysis as needed.

About you

Bachelor's Degree (majoring in accounting/ taxation) and CA/CPA qualified.

7 years + of relevant tax experience gained in tax consultancy and/or as in-house tax counsel.

Strong knowledge of (international) corporate income tax, GST/VAT and personal income taxes.

Outstanding conceptual, analytical and problem solving skills, coupled with a high energy level.

Ability to be proactive and demonstrate strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Ability to travel within SEA region.

Well-organized and detail-oriented.

Able to work both independently and as a team player.
