Responsibilities / Tasks

Managing all processes and functions at stores of engineering manufacturing unit including Packing activities i.e. Material Receipt, Storage, Issue, Packing and dispatch.

Managing store and packing teams including supervisory and blue-collar staff, planning and allocate work in such a way that the work complete before deadline to avoid production loss.

Ensure timely GRN’s Preparation and submit to QC & FI depart for further process.

Ensure Job Work (Subcontracting), RGP & NRGP preparation with proper recordkeeping and reconciliation.

Organizing and stacking of materials in proper location, tagging of goods. Ensure periodic inventory counting; ensure zero variance between book V/S Physical stock.

Lead internal and external stock audits as well as ISO and QHSE audit. Prepare, Maintain and Present necessary data needed by auditor.

Timely send back rejection to vendor as per instruction by purchase dept.

Guides, motivates, coaches and develops direct and indirect subordinates.

Lead and participate lean activities. 5S, Visual management, value stream mapping, layout and logistics improvement.

Ensures that the area of responsibility is properly organized, staffed, skilled and directed.

Material feeding to production line timely and accurately. Various MIS preparation

Inventory Analysis & Ageing report on Monthly basis.

Inventory variances report i.e. shortage / excess inventory.

GRN Tracking reports i.e. Pending GRN, GRNS submitted to QA and FI

Consumable Materials safety and Minimum stock level tracking & its reports preparation on weekly basis.

Oversee packing operation & monitoring of entire packing and despatch activities includes finished goods packaging, labelling, filling, and case sealing procedures in an efficient manner that also complies with all applicable packaging procedures.

Your Profile / Qualifications

Bachelor / Diploma degree with 10 to 15 years of warehouse/Stores experience preferably engineering manufacturing unit.

Must understand the operational process in the factory with hands-on experience of SAP especially on MM PP module, key user experience could be preferred.

Knowledge on Lean production, Operational excellence, Continuous Improvement, 6Sigma, strong personal leadership and ownership, good organization and communication skills.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Strong verbal and written communication skills & interpersonal skills.

Good leadership and ownership, working experience on people engineer/supervisor will be an ideal match.
