Job Description

DUTIES:

Yard Management / Security part time and full time position available in the Hillside area.

Job description is as follows ;

Greeting all employees and visitors to the property and requesting identification prior to entering. Guiding truckers to their designated pick up or drop off location by use of ( YMS ) Yard Management System. Verifying truck loads are correct, matching corresponding ( BOL ) bill of lading, and sealing truck prior to departure.

Requirements:

- Current (SORA); Prior Military and POST grads are welcomed to apply

- Some Security experience (private/public sector)

- Supervisory experience is a plus

- Must be able and willing to work with minimal supervision

- Professionalism in appearance, work ethic, and positive attitude are essential

• Must possess the ability to follow instructions, work independently, produce written reports, utilize computer yard management system, and proactively perform individual responsibilities.

• Must work varied schedules and overtime as needed, including overnight and holidays

Maintains order on the site; coordinates expedient responses to emergency conditions, safety hazards in a calm, rational and persuasive manner.

Ability to handle undesired conduct, violations of company policy as warranted for the security and safety of employees & property.
