Job Description

Orthodontic Assistant Part time or full time as option. Traditional braces, Invisalign, lingual are all part of the practice. High quality and not volume driven practice. Assistant sets up bay accurately, starts patient, works with Doctor to do scheduled appointment. Some appointments are solely assistant appointments including records, scans, taking and uploading photos, uploading records to Invisalign and other sites. Working with lab to email them scans and follow up on appliances. Take impressions and make essix retainers in office, sterilization, organization of dental bays, assisting admin individual on tracking dental inventory needed. Review of pre and post op instructions with patients. Potential follow ups calls with patients, emergency coverage in office when doctor is out of office. 1-3 marketing events per year to participate in as needed after work hours during the week or on weekends. Participating as an assistant and as part of the office team at lunch and learns in office and or with other offices outside of the office during work hours as needed.
