We are seeking a Family Medicine or Internal Medicine Physician to join our team to provide outpatient primary care services to our senior population.

Outpatient only (M-F 7:00am-4:00pm or 8:00am-5:00pm)

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Evaluate, assess, and treat patients’ medical conditions

Order lab and other diagnostic testing and interpret results

Maintain confidentiality and impartiality at all times

Collect, record, and maintain sensitive patient information such as examination results, medical history, and reports

Perform minor procedures

Explain procedures or prescribed treatments to patients

Liaise with medical professionals in the community and hospitals

Promote health education in conjunction with other health professionals

Meet targets set by the government for specified treatments

Discuss and evaluate new pharmaceutical products with pharmaceutical representatives

Keep up to date with medical developments, treatment, and medication

Observe and assess the work of trainee doctors and medical students as needed

Assist with supervising mid-level providers as needed.

Qualifications/Education:

Degree in Medicine (required).

5 years of residency training (required).

Current Texas medical license and Federal DEA license (required).

2+ years of clinical work experience

Bilingual in English and Spanish (required)

Superb organizational and time management skills.

Excellent decision-making skills and communication.

Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Compassionate nature with the ability to make patients feel at ease.

Great management and leadership skills.
