The Opportunity Senior Inside Sales Specialist

Under the supervision of the Director, Business Development, the Senior Sales Specialist will support the Sales & Business growth of the company. In this position, you will be the focal point resource in guiding the sales team to ensure target sales volumes are met as planned. You interface closely with the Management Team and Line Managers by providing up to date sales reports and projections. Follow through with customer questions and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements.

Location: Monsey, NY

Salary Information: $37.10 - $41.00 per hr.

Your Challenge:

Answer product and service-related sales calls and emails from existing and potential customers.

Create product quotations and follow up to obtain business. Work with Applications Engineering and Industrial Engineering for costing of custom product.

Update and maintain Customer Master Database with accurate information.

Review customer terms & conditions for exceptions/rejections.

Coordinate shipping schedules to align with their business needs.

Expedite customer orders through the manufacturing process. Set up freight carriers and provide tracking information to customer.

Assist in the creation of marketing materials (trade show giveaways, flyers, data sheets).

Work with Quality to issue Return Authorizations, replacements, credit memo requests.

Work closely with independent regional outside sales representatives. Work with IT and Systems Analysts to improve existing database functionality.

Provide quotations from manufacturing sites with appropriate costing. Coordinate Sales Meetings to discuss departmental focus, targets & goals. Maintain Customer Satisfaction Survey.

Document & update procedures (SOPs) and maintain department records.

Provide training for Inside Salespeople (SOPs, customer portals, etc.)

Oversee customer files (orders, quotations, correspondence) and archive records yearly.

Monitor, investigate, manage department errors, late orders, and satisfy customer needs.

Maintain U.S. Dept. of Labor PPI forms. Ensure compliance with Non-Disclosure Agreements and contracts.

Negotiate non-standard Terms & Conditions with customers.

Oversee/proofread export documentation for accuracy.

Education:

Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Sales or Marketing from a recognized accredited University is required.

*A Master’s Degree in Business Administration, Sales & Marketing considered a plus.

Work Experience:

A minimum of seven (7) years of professional work experience in Sales & Business development in a fast-paced work environment or in a similar position is required.

Technical Knowledge:

Extensive Microsoft Excel Skills and Experience

Sales, Marketing & Business development Strategy.

Familiar with MIL standards.

Proven ability to manage, understand and appreciate the values of Quality, Cost and Schedules.

Citizenship:

CW 901D is a Defense Contractor; U.S. Citizenship is required.
