We would like to share a full-time opportunity as a Fraud &Loss Prevention Agent that is immediately available with AVI Foodsystems, Inc. in Warren, OH!
Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
Recommend improvements in systems, controls and fraud prevention
Develop systems to assist in fraud detection/prevention
Provide coherent and informed in person and/or telephone guidance to team member
Travel to perform audits and/or investigations
Perform research/investigations related to suspected acts of wrongdoing
Conduct interviews effectively
Establish facts and draw valid conclusions
Referring cases to law enforcement agencies and preparation for court proceedings
Ability to perform physical activity; lift 30lbs and climb a ladder
Ability to travel – 50% or higher
Preferred Experience:
Research or investigative work related to internal investigations
Experience with interviewing internal/external parties
Experience testifying in court proceedings or unemployment cases
Detailed report writing and/or case management
Experience in writing policies and procedures
Required Experience:
Associate Degree or higher in Criminal Justice or related field
1 year experience with investigation/detection or related field that demonstrates expertise in reviewing, analyzing/developing information and making appropriate decisions
Training or certification in interviewing and interrogation
Required Skills:
Strong computer and software skills, use of databases, spreadsheets, etc.
Clear communication skills (verbal/written)
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Ability to identify problems, develop solutions and implement courses of action
Must possess qualities of fairness, a strong work ethic, have the highest integrity
Ability to maintain the confidentiality of investigatory records and other case information
Ability to quickly learn internal systems
Ability to multitask and prioritize projects and case work
Ability to utilize time efficiently
