SUMMARY/OBJECTIVE

Arizona Beverages USA, LLC is seeking an experienced SAP Senior FICO Analyst to join our team as we drive the life cycle improvement of our upgraded S/4 HANA 2020 environment for Arizona Beverages Preferred to have strong Cost Controlling experience to interact closely with Cost Accountants.

This position is based out of our HQ location in Woodbury NY but travel to our NJ facilities when needed. The position reports into the Information Technology department in Woodbury NY

We are searching for a highly motivated and experienced SAP ECC and/or S/4 HANA candidate who has exceptional skills and experience in working on Cost Controlling, Simple Finance, Central Finance, FSCM functional modules and the ability to dive into and learn/implement the FIORI feature sets for financial processes.

Ideal candidate should have a proven ability to provide technical direction for complex SAP ECC / S4 HANA issues, and can collaborate with the business and developers and execute on agreed timelines. At least 12 years total Finance and Accounting Systems experience, 10 years of which are related to the SAP system, and at least 8 years of which are related to FI/CO modules and at least 1+ years of S/4 Simple Finance experience.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Knowledge on S4 is a must including the new Finance structures and Account based COPA.

Provide solutions including how to leverage standard SAP S/4 HANA Finance functionality and how to enable requirements while maximizing the ROI.

Demonstrates the ability to translate business needs into solution architecture requirements and understands the long-term and short-term perspectives of an IT investment situation

Support finance business teams alongside other IT SAP staff

Perform root cause analysis on persistent or major software & application related problems

Must be able to dive into existing code to figure out how objects need to be enhanced. Proven ability to provide technical direction for complex SAP S/4 finance system issues.

Support and promote integration relationships between IT and business functions

Provide accurate timelines for specific tasks assigned.

Provide end-user support especially during Month End close.

Provide solutions including how to leverage standard SAP S/4 HANA Finance functionality and how to enable requirements while maximizing the ROI.

Demonstrates the ability to translate business needs into solution architecture requirements and understands the long-term and short-term perspectives of an IT investment situation

Must be able to dive into existing Fiori Objects to understand how objects need to be enhanced to meet User Experience and Functional requirements. Proven ability to provide technical direction for complex SAP S/4 finance system issues.

Analyze, and assist our SAP CoC to implement, support, and document optimal uses and configurations of the SAP FI/CO modules and related systems to support the business.

Research, analyze, and evaluate business procedures and problems to define the best SAP system and business process solutions for problems and initiatives across the operation.

Identify business requirements by interviewing and working with key business personnel. Communicate requirements to business and technical groups and refine as needed throughout solution implementation.

Define and document existing or proposed business process flows.

Perform analysis of system, process, and organizational impacts of change requests.

Develop custom reports and reporting systems to support and improve operational analytics.

Conduct need assessments and perform analysis of data to support directional recommendations on system, process, and organizational changes.

Plan and conduct functional, integration, and user acceptance testing prior to implementation.

Provide functional support and training to end-users.

Analyze, troubleshoot and resolve business process or functional application problems reported by end-users.

Analyze, diagnose, and recommend action for bug fixes, upgrades, updates, and configuration changes. Coordinate with appropriate technical application personnel.

Maintain functional system designs, business process, and end-user training documentation

Support IT initiatives

Maintain business and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in technical societies as appropriate.

Establish position as an effective SAP contact for the organization.

Proactively develop relationships with Arizona personnel, including management and end-users. Respond to the expectations and needs of the business.

Build credibility and trust with associates and management.

Establish position as an effective, contributing member of the SAP/IT team.

Work within the SAP/IT organization to manage and deliver SAP and IT solutions for the business.

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

BS in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software and other Engineering Disciplines

SAP Finance Certification

Accounting Education

CMA Accounting designation preferred

1+ year SAP Fiori experience or Fiori training

6+ years’ experience in related industry preferred

Proven leadership ability preferred with referenceable examples

At least 1 full life cycle SAP R/3 implementations and 1 S/4 Life cycle implementation preferred.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

10 years of Finance and Accounting Systems experience

Strong SAP Cost Controlling functionality and COPA configuration – COPA / COPC

2-3 years SAP S/4 HANA FI/CO experience

8+ years hands-on functional CONFIGURATION experience with SAP FI & CO modules

Accounting background preferred

SAP Simple Finance

General Ledger, Cost and Profit Center Accounting; Fixed Assets; Closing Cockpit

SAP Treasury and Risk Management (FIN-FSCM-TRM),

SAP In-House Cash (FIN-FSCM-IHC).
