Physician Assistant - Interventional Radiology

Responsibilities:

Full-time position - Interventional Radiology

Monday-Friday

Collaborate with a fantastic team of board-certified radiologists, physician assistants, and nurse practitioners

Perform procedures such as thoracentesis, paracentesis, placement and removal of PICC lines, tunneled catheters and ports, CT guided biopsies, ultrasound-guided biopsies, and more

Obtain comprehensive health histories and perform complete physical examinations during hospitalization

Develop patient treatment plans and educate patients about discharge care

Communicate patient status information, attend daily rounds, and document progress in the electronic medical record

Qualifications:

Virginia Physician Assistant License

BLS/ACLS Certified

Strong interpersonal skills

Proficient with EMR systems
