Deputy City Attorney

Responsibilities include but are not limited to, providing legal advice and counsel to city officials, departments, and boards; preparing and reviewing contracts, ordinances, resolutions, and other legal documents; representing the city in all litigation matters, including civil litigation, administrative hearings, and appeals; conducting legal research and preparing legal memoranda on various municipal law issues; assisting in drafting and reviewing legislation and policies; and participating in negotiations and settlements.
