Sr. Embedded Model Based Software Engineer

We are looking for an experienced Sr. Embedded Model Based Software Engineer with at least 5 years of experience doing model based software development using Math Works on a highly visible program with a very demanding schedule.

Job Title: Sr. Embedded Model Based Software Engineer

Job Type: Contract 1+ years with possible extension

Pay Rate: $55 - $60 hourly

Location: Rockford, IL 100% Oniste

Required Skills

Deep expertise in Model-Based Design using Mathworks®

Five plus years of experience with C programming for embedded systems

Possess excellent communication skills and ability to interface with all levels of management

The candidate must be highly knowledgeable and have proven experience in DO178 A/B software certification processes.

This candidate should also possess experience in developing and maintaining high and low-level requirements.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

Perform hands-on development and troubleshooting of embedded model based software for iteration development for the B52 and new software development for the E7, while strictly following DO178 A/B certification standards

Job Requirements

5 years of Model Based Embedded Software Engineering

5 years of Mathworks experience

5 years of Engine Control Experience strong verbal and written communication skills

5 years DO178 A/B Process experience
