Information Security Analyst

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Pay Rate/Salary: $26.93 - $33.66

Job Description:

As an Information Security Analyst where you'll be pivotal in maintaining the security and integrity of our banking operations. You'll collaborate closely with the Information Security Officer to manage our Information Security Program, ensuring sensitive financial information remains protected. Your role involves proactive measures to counter cyber threats, timely response to security incidents, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Monitor and analyze network traffic, system logs, and security data using advanced tools and technologies.

Respond promptly to security alerts, conducting real-time analysis to mitigate potential incidents.

Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify and address weaknesses.

Assist in developing, implementing, and enforcing cybersecurity policies and standards.

Participate in designing and implementing new security solutions, reviewing and recommending enhancements.

Collaborate with third-party vendors for services such as SOC, managed detection, and SIEM solutions.

Execute project-specific tasks as assigned by the Information Security Officer.

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, or Information Security preferred.

Qualifications:

Experience in cybersecurity or information security, preferably in a financial institution.

1-2 years of experience in administering and securing complex computing and network environments.

Understanding of banking systems, protocols, security frameworks, and regulatory requirements.

Proficiency in security tools, SIEM solutions, and incident response frameworks.

Industry certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CRISC, SANS, or GIAC preferred.

Familiarity with systems administration automation tools and methods preferred.
