Business Data Analyst

We are seeking a well-experienced Business Data Analyst to join our team. The candidate will leverage both technical skills and manufacturing industry knowledge to drive efficiency through strategic data analysis. The successful candidate will have a comprehensive understanding of ERP systems, exhibit an advanced mastery of SQL and SQL developer, and can effectively use data visualization tools.

Responsibilities:

Perform comprehensive data analysis to optimize efficiencies within the manufacturing environment including in areas such as purchasing, inventory production, and test.

Customize and support Oracle-based ERP or SAP systems to meet company needs.

Develop customized reports within the ERP system to drive business decision-making.

Carry out data cleansing and migration tasks within our ERP system.

Collaborate with department heads to identify appropriate KPIs and develop automated reporting via Power BI or equivalent tools, pulling data from multiple sources.

Troubleshoot issues within the ERP system, working in tandem with our off-site IT team.

Deliver end-user training where required to enhance the efficiency of our systems.

Contribute to capacity planning strategies involving people and machines.

Ensure the maintenance and accuracy of MRP systems at an operational level.

Qualifications:

A Bachelor’s degree in a related field such as MIS, Computer Science, or Data Science.

Minimum of 3-5 years experience in a similar role.

Advanced user of SQL and SQL Developer with moderate coding experience.

Hands-on experience with an Oracle-based ERP system or SAP, including the creation of custom reports.

Experience performing data cleansing and migrations within ERP systems.

Knowledge of Power BI or an equivalent data visualization tool.

Manufacturing experience, preferably in a small-to-mid-size company, with an understanding of MRP systems.

Proven experience in capacity planning.

Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively translate complex IT concepts.

Capacity to work collaboratively across the organization to identify and develop KPIs to drive efficiencies.
