Entry-Level Legal Assistant - Plaintiff Personal Injury & Workers' Compensation

Our firm is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Entry-Level Legal Assistant. In this role, you will provide critical support to our attorneys specializing in Plaintiff Personal Injury and Workers' Compensation cases. We offer a supportive training environment to help you gain valuable legal experience.

Responsibilities:

Assist attorneys with drafting and editing discovery requests, pleadings, and other legal documents.

Electronically file court documents through various e-filing systems.

Answer phones and screen calls, directing inquiries to appropriate personnel.

Perform basic administrative duties such as photocopying, scanning, and maintaining filing systems.

Assist with bookkeeping tasks using QuickBooks.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent required.

Associate's degree in Legal Studies or Paralegal Studies a plus.

Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Ability to learn new software programs quickly.

Positive attitude, willingness to learn, and a desire to succeed in a fast-paced environment.
