French/West/Vaughan (FWV), one of the nation’s leading integrated marketing agencies, is seeking a Director of Social Media & Influencer Marketing to join our growing team in our downtown Raleigh, N.C. HQs. In this role, you will collaborate with fellow social media and influencer marketing specialists. While you will work within the Social Media and Influencer Marketing department, you will integrate closely with all agency departments/marketing channels (creative, PR, integrated marketing, paid/digital, analytics). You’ll serve as a key player in your department, and in partnership with team members cross-departments, will contribute to the creation of new ideas, campaigns, strategies and tactics through the lens of social media and influencer marketing.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
Manages social media channels on behalf of agency clients including posting content, executing paid social campaigns, engaging with users, monitoring and reporting
Develops engaging social media content optimized for social media platforms
Contributes to and implements strategic plans for clients
Ensures that client social media/influencer marketing scopes and goals are being met, budgets are maintained, and client relationships are strong
Collaborates with all agency departments from PR, to creative and digital/paid teams to brainstorm out-of-the box social media content and campaigns
Stays up to date with social media trends and shares those out internally and with clients
Suggests and implements new services, tools, and ideas to further elevate the agency’s social media and influencer marketing offerings
Builds and maintains relationships with social media influencers
Establish, grow and maintain relationships with micro to macro influencers and content creators (and in some cases, their agents)
Coordinates aspects of influencer programs, such as list development, invite responses, and tracking
Assists with day-to-day client communication
Travels to live events and provides on-site social media coverage, as needed
Contributes to new business opportunities and pitch presentations
REQUIREMENTS:
While your expertise is in social media and influencer marketing, you have knowledge of the way in which all marketing channels work together to deliver on client goals based on ideas and strategies
Has a demonstrated passion for and understanding of social media and proactively pursues opportunities to evolve skills and knowledge of best practices
Has experience utilizing reporting tools including native platform insights and understands the importance of social media metrics
You have solid understanding and experience using all social media platforms both from an organic and paid media perspective
Possesses attention to detail and the ability to multitask, prioritize and juggle projects effectively
Is able to build and nurture relationships internally and with clients
Demonstrates excellent communication skills and sharp writing skills
Has an eye for visual aesthetics, including formatting and layout, and produces polished client deliverables
Possesses resourcefulness and intellectual curiosity

QUALIFICATIONS:
BA/BS degree in marketing or related fields
5+ years in marketing with a focus on digital and social media
Agency experience
Proficiency in using (front and back end) Meta, X, TikTok, Sprout Social, GA4, Influencer Marketing Tools/Platforms, Looker Studio (dashboard analytics)
